- Q. What is the procedure of admission?
To apply for program, you can either visit college and meet the admission counselor or apply online .
- Q. Does the college provide accommodation and transportation?
We will assist you in making arrangements for accommodation in a near-by hostel for female students but for transportation students shall manage on their own.
- Q. Which University is National Open College affiliated to?
We are affiliated to Pokhara University (PU).
- Q. What about the class timing?
We are running morning , day and evening classes. Morning classes starts from 6:30 am to 11:00 am for BHCM, 11 am to 5 pm for BPH, and 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for PGDHCM and MHCM.
- Q. Does college provide any scholarship?
We are extending our scholarship as part of our silver jubilee celebration. Every student for the new class year in every program will receive a scholarship of 5000 per month.
- Q. When was National Open College established?
National Open College was established in 2000 and we are celebrating our silver jubilee this year.
- Q. What program are offered at National Open College?
We offer BHCM (Bachelors in Health Care Management) since 2000 ,as the first college in South Asia to offer a education in Health Care Management. Meanwhile our Department of Health Care also offers PGDHCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care Management) and MHCM (Masters In Health Care Management) since 2001.
On the other hand, our Department of Public Health has also been offering BPH (Bachelors in Public Health) since 2009.
- Q. Does National Open College provide Internships and job placements?
We assist our students for internship and job placement within our esteemed associates or partner organizations based on the skill possessed by students. We also have various MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with top hospitals & institutes across Nepal for internship positions, which often translates to a full time job. Meanwhile, our alumni in prominent position across hospitals & institutes also assist in placing our students in their own organization.
