Prof.Dr. Sutapa
- Credentials: MD (Community Medicine), DNB (Maternal & Child Health), MBBS
- Role: Professor & Director, IIHMR
- The Highlights: An award-winning Public Health powerhouse with decades of experience. Honored as the “Best Women Researcher in Public Health” (by GISR), she has spearheaded massive healthcare research projects funded directly by WHO, UNICEF, USAID, and India’s Ministry of Health. She is a top-tier national expert in epidemiology and maternal-child health systems.
Ret. Major General Prof.Dr. Punit
- Credentials: MD (Hospital Administration), MBBS
- Role: Professor & Dean (Academics & Student Affairs), IIHMR
- The Highlights: A legendary healthcare pioneer with over 35 years of high-level leadership. As a Major General in the Armed Forces, he managed massive military hospital operations, medical supply chains, and disaster responses. He is a certified NABH Assessor and won the prestigious Maj Gen Pillai Gold Medal. Dr. Punit is also a master resource person who has trained UN Peacekeeping International Operations staff.
Prof.Dr. Nidhi
- Credentials: Ph.D. in Hospital Management (Specialization in Disaster Management), MBA (Healthcare Management)
- Role: Associate Professor, IIHMR
- The Highlights: A seasoned academician and medical quality administrator with over 13 years of specialized experience in hospital operations. Her groundbreaking doctoral research focused on disaster preparedness in accredited Indian hospitals. Dr. Nidhi serves as an official External Assessor for NQAS (India’s Ministry of Health) and has trained numerous government officials in public health financial systems.
